My first recollection of Anthony Robbins is from infomercials in the 1980s in which he (then known as Tony Robbins) appeared with former NFL quarterback Fran Tarkenton. Even back then, he was a very powerful speaker with obvious passion and engaging enthusiasm.
I find it very interesting that so few of the other self help coaches and speakers acknowledge the contributions of Anthony Robbins. I dare say he's been the most influential success coach and speaker of the past 25 years, both in terms of his approach to the subject and his approach to reach the masses. His focus on "human needs psychology" is practical and easy to understand.
